The Ministry of culture of Kazakhstan carried out an all national plan of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan.
Executive secretary of the department Zhanna Kurmangalieva emphasized that “According to the conception every month will be dedicated to the defined theme and achievements of the country in any spheres. For example, the January will be devoted to “Aziada”, achievements of Kazakhstan in sport, issues and values of healthy way of life, the month of March is to traditions”
Also the action " 20 peaks of the Independence or 20 starry days” will start from 26th of November till 15th of December when every day will also focus on specific topics, Kazakhstan's achievements in economy, industrial and innovation development, health, education, all achievements reached by Kazakhstan during 20 years of Independence.

At this moment the draft of the national plan of celebrating twenty years anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan is on the approval of the President.
«Celebration of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence should be pragmatic — President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his speech.— It should not be just a holiday for celebration, but a pragmatic and meaningful by the number of specific actions that every citizen of Kazakhstan personally felt the state's care.»Independence is the main property of the people. It is necessary to carry this message to every citizen of Kazakhstan” — Nazarbayev said in his speech. “It is important that every citizen of Kazakhstan feel the atmosphere of holiday and his involvement in major events”.
Each month will be devoted to a specific topic. January is dedicated to the Asian Games, February will be devoted to high international reputation of Kazakhstan, the main themes of March will be continuity of generations and family values; April will be the leitmotif of the celebration of industrial-innovative development, May will be devoted to the unity and tolerance; June is for patriotism, July is a month of the capital of Kazakhstan, August is for the Constitution, September is a month of knowledge and spiritual harmony, October will be devoted to the Rural Development, November — the total accelerated development, and December will be held under the slogan of «20 peaks of the Independence».
